Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close Movie

There is a movie adaptation of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, ahead of us. Director Stephen Daldry intends indeed to bring the novel written by Jonathan Safran Foer to the big screen. The cast is already lining Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, and Thomas Horn. There's no official release date yet, but the film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is listed for a 2012 release by IMDb.

Plot:
"Nine-year-old Oskar Schell has embarked on an urgent, secret mission that will take him through the five boroughs of New York. His goal is to find the lock that matches a mysterious key that belonged to his father, who died in the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11. This seemingly impossible task will bring Oskar into contact with survivors of all sorts on an exhilarating, affecting, often hilarious, and ultimately healing journey."

The young Thomas Horn will play the role of Oskar Schell. His previous claim to fame was winning $31,800 on Jeopardy! after scoring $12,000 in the final wager. So he's definitely fit for the role.

More details about the movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close should emerge soon, so stay tuned with us!
